There is a lot to cover this week! Supercharging for all!? Again? Or not? News this week that existing owners can give free, unlimited Supercharging to up to five friends by sharing their referral code seems to have caused confusion, and mixed reactions.
Robert and Mel are back this week, sans Tom, to discuss all of your Tesla news. Mel clears the air about his Model X's Wavy lines, and they discuss the sad news this week involving the Gruber Motors fire and the loss of the TZero, a rare EV that inspired Elon to make EV’s.
Last Thursday, Elon announced he is announcing a SEMI truck. The trucks are coming! Tom, Robert and Mel are back in the studio this week to discuss the possibilities, and what this could mean for the future
It seems Tesla have been listening! Mel got a call last week from the Tesla Service centre, suggesting all this talk of his wavy lines was getting embarrassing for them. So, he tells us how it all went down. Including his Tesla loaner.
Mel believes he may have stumbled across some kind of shady hacker site whilst trying to find the model 3 tracker. For the correct link go to our shownotes! Also, Mel's S still has WAVY LINES! So things get off to a feisty start this week.
Mel is away in Hawaii, so Robert and Tom are in charge. They talk about all the news this week, including the Space X announcement to fly passengers on a private trip around the moon in 2018. Tom has some strong opinions about that story. They tell us about the massive solar park on the Tibetan Plateau in Eastern China.
The big focus this week is on the Tesla Earnings Call. Aside from the obvious financial discussions, the most exciting news (in Mel's mind) is the announcement that Tesla plans to accelerate the expansion of the Supercharger network this year, starting with doubling the number of North American Supercharger locations in 2017.
The big app update is here and the guys discuss. Tom gives us a report of the Lucid Motors event last weekend, with details about the canapés, the bar and the car! Robert continues the discussion about his issues with the P100D and the lack of Supercharging for life.
Its Tom's birthday and there are presents! Also some breaking news about production on the Model 3! The guys can all be happy once more. Except for the obvious trumpression. In the news this week, Tesla drops 'Motors' from name, becoming a diversified energy products company.
As per usual its a feisty morning in the studio, as the guys discuss EVs, Model 3 rumors, autopilot, tech, renewable energy, news and thoughts. Not to mention Mel's recent Netflix picks! They also have some guests in the studio this week: OK Google, Amazon's Alexa, and Siri.
Another week in Talking Tesla land. This week Mel is ANGRY about the "Alternate Facts" statement. Robert is also angry, but mainly at his Model S windshield wipers for getting him wet! Expect all the usual discussions: stock price, new superchargers, and autonomous news.
Mel is in New Zealand on holidays, so this weeks Talking Tesla is a break in the usual programing. We take you on the journey of our friends Jess and Dave Mason going to pick up their new Model S! We'll be back to the usual show next week. Happy New Year to all! Team Talking tesla.
Teslas for everyone….except Tom. This holiday season there is much excitement in the Talking Tesla studio. All three of the guys are in-studio, and they are feeling merry. Lots of news this week, not least of which is the secret code to make your Tesla dance!

Model S Beats the RANGE Gauge, Mercedes is planning an $11 billion investment for in EV's, and there are reasons to believe that Apple is making an Autonomous car?!
The guys do their best to get all of the bad news out of the way quickly this week, so they can move on to the good stuff. Unfortunately with the recent announcement of Myron Ebell heading the EPA transition team, the vandalized supercharger incident in Barstow, and the disinformation campaigns about Elon Musk, it takes a little longer than planned.
Another week of Tesla news & renewable energy discussions with the guys! This week they discuss the Tesla/Solar City merger. Elon had a lot to say about the effect of a potential pullback of subsidies.
